Black History Month 2022

1 February – 1 March 2022

What is it and why is it celebrated?

February marks Black History Month, a tribute to African American men and women who have made significant contributions to America and the rest of the world in the fields of Science, Politics, Law, Sports, The Arts, Entertainment, and many other fields.

The Black Jewels Network felicitates and associates with the African Americans in the celebration of the 2022 Black History Month.

theblackjewelsnetwork.com is a global media company, focusing on blacks’ socio-economic activities - business, investing, technology, entrepreneurship, leadership, people, and culture.

TBJN celebrates the black folks, race, and culture!

Folks, if we don’t celebrate ourselves, no one will celebrate us.

As we celebrate The Black Jewels - “Names in Gold” - both dead and living, we are invariably encouraging more contributions to service and development in the black nations and the world at large.

Therefore, TBJN celebrates and honors the following esteemed personalities and achievers with the honorary award of The Black Jewel Ambassadors (TBJA)

Who are the BLACK JEWELS?

Black Jewels are special treasures, gems, change agents, highly valued people, and organizations in their generations.
They are:

• distinguished in their chosen endeavors;
• visionary people with a special mission to make things happen, which ultimately brings positive impacts on the world at large;
• peculiar people that had made indelible marks in the sand of history – in leadership, industry, business, education, ministry, etc.;
• distinguished people in their service to God and humanity.

The list is not exhaustive.

Today, there is an emergence of esteemed young and enterprising black people of vision and mission as global champions in Politics, Leadership, Business, Academics, Education, Ministry, Art and Music, Sports, etc.

Nothing just happens unless someone makes it happen. Success does not just come easily unless you make it happen. For every problem, difficulty, or negative situation or circumstance that the Black race is presently facing, there is always a ray of hope and opportunity in it. William Shakespeare once said, “Sweet are the uses of adversity which, like the toad, ugly and venomous, wears yet a precious jewel in his head.”

In this medium, The Black Jewels Network features distinguished people, treasured organizations/communities, and black leaders/achievers’ biographies, videos, and articles that celebrate their historic achievements.
Watch out!
